Join Morgan O'Hare and the Present Practice Yoga community for a transformative 7-day Women’s Yoga Retreat in the serene coastal village of Buljarica, Montenegro. This retreat is designed to foster deep connection, self-discovery, and rejuvenation in a breathtaking natural setting. Through daily yoga, nourishing food, and immersive experiences, we create a sacred space for inner peace, personal growth, and sisterhood. Breezy Yates will provide hands-on assists throughout the retreat, helping to refine your practice and support your journey.
Together, we will step away from the busyness of life and connect with our truest nature. This week is an invitation to take optimal care of your body, open your heart, and explore what it means to live with more freedom and presence. Through movement, meditation, nourishing food, and time in nature, we will create space for deep healing and empowerment in a group of supportive women. Our opening and closing cacao ceremonies will be moments of intention-setting and heart-opening, grounding us in love and connection throughout our time together.
tHe Place
Nestled between the mountains and the pristine Adriatic Sea, Mahakala Center is a sanctuary for holistic well-being. The center is completely immersed in nature, offering a peaceful environment for rest, reflection, and deep connection. The water we drink is sourced from pure mountain springs, and the organic food is grown in the retreat’s own garden, nourishing the body and soul. Every element of this retreat space is designed to bring a sense of harmony and renewal.
yoga & programming
Each morning begins with a dynamic all-level vinyasa flow practice infused with breathwork, meditation, and journaling, starting at 7:30 AM and lasting approximately 75 minutes. Following this, we will gather for discussion and self-inquiry. Ice baths will be available at 10:00 AM, offering a refreshing and invigorating start to the day, followed by brunch at 10:30 AM.
Afternoon workshops offer space for deeper exploration, including:
A 2-hour yin yoga session to enhance flexibility and relaxation
A partner yoga workshop focused on backbends and handstands
A special beachside yoga session, culminating in a joyful, freeing skinny-dip in the sea
On non-workshop days, we will embark on adventures in nature, including:
A private boat excursion to explore hidden beaches
A guided forest hike leading to a secluded swimming spot, where we can immerse ourselves in nature (and maybe even enjoy a forest skinny dip!)
Dinner will be served around 5:00 - 5:30 PM each night, with fresh fruit and tea available during free time for snacks. There will be plenty of opportunities to swim, sunbathe, enjoy spa treatments (massages, sauna, and flower baths), or simply relax and take in the stunning surroundings. Breezy will also capture beautiful moments on film, creating lasting memories of this retreat.
We will open and close the retreat with a cacao ceremony, setting intentions on the first evening and coming together in gratitude on the final night.
Nourishment
At Mahakala Center, every meal is a celebration of fresh, local, and organic ingredients. The plant-based meals are crafted with love, and all food is grown in the retreat’s lush gardens. Water is sourced directly from mountain springs, offering purity and revitalization. For those who enjoy a morning ritual, nut milk lattes will be available each day for a small donation.
WhAT We will do
Each day of our Montenegro retreat will be an opportunity to move, explore, and reconnect with yourself in one of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes in the world. While this retreat is designed for deep rest and rejuvenation, it also invites you to engage in invigorating movement, immersive nature experiences, and soul-nourishing connection.
We will begin each morning with a dynamic vinyasa flow practice infused with breathwork, meditation, and journaling. Following this, you can refresh and invigorate your body with an optional ice bath before gathering for a nourishing brunch.
Our afternoons will alternate between enriching workshops and outdoor adventures. You’ll have the chance to expand your practice through a yin yoga workshop and a partner yoga + inversion session. On other days, we’ll embark on unforgettable experiences—sailing across crystal-clear waters to explore hidden beaches or hiking through lush forests to discover secluded swimming spots.
Evenings offer time to relax, connect, and integrate the day's experiences. We’ll share meals together, unwind in the retreat’s spa facilities, and enjoy moments of reflection in the stunning natural surroundings. Throughout the week, we will gather in sacred ceremony, opening with cacao to set our intentions and closing with gratitude on our final night.
This retreat is about stepping away from the demands of daily life and immersing yourself in a rhythm that nourishes your body, mind, and soul. Whether you’re deepening your yoga practice, taking in Montenegro’s beauty, or simply soaking up the peaceful energy of the retreat space, each moment is an invitation to return to yourself.

For those interested, some of us will be flying into Dubrovnik, Croatia, the day before the retreat and taking a bus into Montenegro. Participants are welcome to join this journey!

4-Bed Dorm Room: $1,900 per person (4 spots)
Double Room (2 single beds or 1 double): $2,000 per person (4 spots total, 2 rooms)
Double Room, Sea View (2 single beds or 1 double): $2,200 per person
Double Room, Mountain View with Private Balcony (2 single beds or 1 double): $2,400 per person
Double Room, Sea View and Private Balcony (2 single beds or 1 double): $2,600 per person
Single Supplement: $600 extra (on any room) to have it as a private room
Only 12 spots available. A $500 deposit (included in price) is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions!
